We Have Turned To Beggars Just To Survive – Imo Workers Cry Out!

Civil servants in Imo State have claimed most of them have gone into begging to be able to live.
They claim the State Government has not paid their salaries since January, 2016 and they have been borrowing money to go to work since then.

Some said since their lenders have refused to lend them transport money anymore, they have been unable to go to work every day due to this.

Others claim, their landlords are on their necks to pay their due rents, but they can’t since they have not been paid. They also said they have been unable to properly feed their children, since they have no other source of income.
